September is coming, and with it a slew of old Nintendo Entertainment System games as well as a bunch of GameBoy Advance games. As with most fresh Japanese new titles Andriasang has deciphered a full list of the titles that will be available to all the 3DS Ambassadors as of September first. As they have written, no further titles have been listed for the GBA other than the ones we are already aware of. Here is the list according to Andriasang;
Today, Nintendo released the full Famicom list. The following Famicom titles are included in the program:
Super Mario Bros.
Donkey Kong Jr.
Balloon Fight
Ice Climber
The Legend of Zelda
Wrecking Crew
Mario Open Golf
Yoshi’s Egg
Metroid
Zelda: Adventures of Link These ten will be available for free download starting on September 1. Nintendo has not shared a full list of GBA games outside the Super Mario Advance 3, Mario Kart Advance, Metroid Fusion, Made in Wario and Mario vs Donkey Kong that were previously announced. Nintendo reiterated that the GBA games will be available before the end of the year.
Notably they are giving away both NES Zelda titles, there by appeasing both factions of that group. Personally, I can’t wait to have a free copy of Mario Golf, as well as a portable Metroid. The games already listed for the GBA are good enough, I can only imagine what more they can put on that list.
