Frist off, thank you to those that have already donated. This means a lot to us, and even more to those that benefit directly from your contributions.
The last four years some friends and I have participated in the Extra Life Video Game Charity Marathon. It may sound a bit childish, but that’s kind of the point. We play games for 24hrs straight and raise money for kids as part of the Children’s Miracle Network. Over the past several years we have raised over $1,000! We are looking to raise even more this year.
No one likes to be sick. That’s a simple fact. While I can’t cure diseases, I can at the very least, do my part to help raise money for charity. We are stepping up, and making it happen.
Sadly there are a lot of kids out there that can’t have fun playing video games or anything else for that matter, so we try to help out any way we can. Our first year we raised a couple hundred dollars. Last year we not only surpassed that, we blew our goal amount out of the water. This year we are hoping to destroy all previous goals.
