Another day, another movie in the bag. This is one that I was actually looking forward to watching. Next up:
#2 Saw IV
OK, so I just finished watching Saw IV with my wife. I loved the first one, the second a little less, and the third really didn’t do anything for me. I am not really sure why, it just didn’t have that same “flair” as the previous two. The first will always be my favorite, but that is beside the point. Going into part four I had to go back and watch the end of part three, knowing that it would probably pick up right where the last one left off. Not to be disappointed, part four pretty much did just that. There was more traps, more blood, and many many more twists to the plot. I was following along pretty well considering I knew there would be a big “WTF” moment at the end. When that moment came, I was not so much surprised as I was confused. The timeline now seems totally screwed up and I don’t understand the motivation for the “new Jigsaw” to be setting all these people up and doing what he does. Seeing as how I have part “V” for me to watch probably tomorrow, I hope to have those answers soon. All in all though the movie was pretty good. I did end up liking it more than part three. Since five is ready to go, and part six is coming out this month, I will soon have had my fill of Jigsaw’s ‘Games” for a while. Watch this movie or not, the choice is yours. Great… now I have that old mans raspy voice stuck in my head.
