Having played through the first game and owning it (twice), I am fully on board with the new sequel. There are however a couple things that bother me about this one. The new look for one. I was kinda fond of the super dark and slimy look of the first game. I hope changing it to an almost cell-shaded animation doesn’t detract from the over all feel of the game. The second thing is that it would appear that Jackie is being interrogated. I hope the story isn’t told through a series of flash backs. Granted there was a rather large one in the first game where you went back to WWI and, but that felt right. I just hope the second has as good a story as the first and is just as dark. That’s all I’m saying.
Darkness 2 will be available for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC in the Fall of 2011
